This isn't a story about my family but a co-workers family. It took place about twelve years ago before cell phones became popular.Mom, Dad and 4 girls under 8, rented a motor home for a 2 week vacation to Texas and Louisiana. They stopped at a gas station for gas. After filling the tanks on the motor home Dad jumped in the drivers seat and started the the engine. He asked the girls where's Mom they replied, "in the bathroom". He thought the bathroom in the motor home and drove away. About 20 minutes later he asked the girls to check on Mom, "She's been in the bathroom for a long time". They replied "Dad, how do we do that, she's at the gas station!" Needless to say she was not a happy person when he returned. The moral of this story, be specific when asking kids questions!

I was on my way home from MN. my daughter who was 6 at the time had to use the bathroom. She had to go so bad but we couldnt find a gas station, when we finally found one I told her to go in and I would be there is a few seconds. She would not go in because she wanted me to go with her so we waited and all of the sudden as I'm filling up the tank with gas I notice my toes are wet. I assumed that the gas was leaking or somthing. Then I looked at my daughter and said okay lets go to the bathroom and she goes "Mommy I peed in my unawears." I was laughing so hard. I was so thankful her cousin had gave her some of her old clothes and there happened to be 2 pairs of "unawears" in it.Sheila from IA
