Summer Deals - New York from $109!

17 days on the East Coast and New York

East Coast and New York Itinerary

A great way to see the United States is a Fly/Drive adventure. While this takes a little planning it can be very rewarding for the entire family. I am an advocate for traveling with kids, but it’s important to make the trips age appropriate. In other words don’t take toddlers to 8 year olds to Washington DC and expect them to behave and understand the area. You will be disappointed and exhausted.

The following itinerary is designed for 12 to 18 year old travelers. Let your teenagers plan a portion of the trip to a place they might want to see. A sports minded teen might want to see the Baseball Hall of Fame, or how about something as simple as a New York Yankees game. Teenagers need to feel that they, are part of the vacation and not just along for the ride.
