KOA - 5 stars - $$$ - There are 2 KOA campgrounds in the vicinity. Both are listed together now. We stayed at the Colonial KOA, in an air conditioned cabin overlooking a canyon. Very nice - large pool (wish it stayed open later) - A Walmart Supercenter is just down the road, along with a couple of restaurants. The KOA is near all the attractions.
Virginia BeachKOA - We did not stay there. We were told by a Mom and son, that they do not allow anyone sleeping in a van conversion to stay there. Check before you go.
