Good - Cheap - Convienient Lodging in Maryland

Just about 7 miles outside of Washington DC a family can find economical lodging in Maryland. The Capitol KOA - cabins, RV and tents spaces, pool Approx $85, for a family of 4 - per night in a cabin.

The KOA offers tours of DC or you can take the train just a couple of miles away in to the heart of DC and the Smithsonian museums. rdtp train tickets are approx $10-$12 per person

The scenic, military college town of Annapolis is just a short 7 mile drive east. Well worth the visit.

KOA - 4 stars - $$$ - A nice place close to the city - It's just off of the highway, but a little awkward to find for the first time. Visit our Summer 2007 vacation journal for more Lodging ideas in Maryland and other exciting things to do in the area.
