Lodging in ColoradoColorado Durango KOA - 4 stars - $$$ - A beautiful KOA along the river - pool - restaurant that serves beer and wine - store - tours and activities - You can buy tickets to ride the Durango/Silverton train, which passes by, just beyond the property.
KOA - 2 stars - $$$ - The campground needed lots repairs when we were there (2006). Pool had tiles falling off and way too many chemicals in it. They also ran the small amusement park on the premises. Don't go there. My daughter got hurt on one of the rides. The staff was untrained and not friendly.
