Things to do when visiting the Lake Tahoe area in the Summer

Fallen Leaf Lake


Camping Fallen Leaf Campground $28 per night

Truckee River Rafting

$30 per person 1 -4 hours -Take your time picnic and and swim hold on at the end of the trip the last 50 feet is a blast

Sand Beach -

$7 parking - no dogs allowed on the beach. A beautiful family friendly beach with giant boulders to swim around or jump from.

Visitor Center near Fallen Leaf Campground

Walk the the easy trails and then walk under the river thru a glass viewing area to watch the trout and other wildlife from under the river.

Buffet Dinner at Harrahs $18 - Go Early -

The line starts forming around 5:30pm by the time we finished at 7 the line was 45 minutes long.

Fallen Leaf Lake - over looking Lake Tahoe

Free you just have to drive the one lane beautiful view lake road to get to the marina.

KayakingRentals are available throughout the area.

Gamble and take in the entertainment at one of the many Casinos

Ride the Tram to the Top of the Ski Resort for a fantastic view!
